Robodex Secures a New Turnkey Project at SEAT Factory!

As Robodex, we are excited to announce a new collaboration with SEAT, a subsidiary of the global automotive giant Volkswagen Group. This project will take place at SEAT’s vehicle production plant in Pamplona, Spain, where we will deliver a comprehensive solution for critical assembly operations on the metal finish (hanging) line.

Scope and Details of the Project

The production line in Pamplona spans 75-90 meters and is responsible for assembling components such as the trunk lid, right and left doors, fenders, bumpers, and hoods. Robodex will ensure complete integration of robotic systems, safety solutions, and energy distribution processes on this line.

Project Details

  • Robotic Assembly Operations:
    • Robotic installation of trunk lids and hinges onto the vehicle body.
    • Robotic installation and tightening of side door hinges.
  • Manual processes will follow robotic assembly.

Line Configuration:

  • Operations will be conducted across two separate production lines.

  • Commissioning of the BestFit Cell: Optimization of robotic systems.

  • Line Optimization and Production Support: Maximizing efficiency on the production line.
